Effective October 6, 2026. These terms are written in plain language on purpose. Where they say "we", they mean Techichi and the person who operates it; where they say "you", they mean the person using Techichi.
What Techichi Is
Techichi is an information and record-keeping service. It shows what a sports contract on a prediction market costs after the venue's fee, sets that beside a sportsbook's price on the same number, and keeps a record of what you tell it you bought, graded after the game against the closing line and the result.
Techichi is not a sportsbook, an exchange, a broker or a tipster. It does not place bets, hold money, take deposits, pay out or recommend what to buy. Every price it shows was observed at the time printed beside it and may have changed since. What you do with any of it is your decision.
Who May Use It
You must be 18 or over, and old enough to use the venues you log under the law where you are. Sign-up asks for your date of birth to check this. Some states set 21 as the age for sports betting. You are responsible for knowing whether the venues you use are lawful where you are. Techichi is offered to people in the United States; if you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own responsibility.
During the beta, accounts are by invitation. One person, one account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping the email account you sign in with secure.
Your Record Is Yours
The positions, prices and screenshots you enter belong to you. You give us permission to store them, show them back to you, grade them, and to derive from them anonymous price observations (a price at a venue at a time, with nothing that identifies you) that we may keep and publish in aggregate. We do not sell your data. We do not show your record to anyone but you, unless you choose to publish it on a public record page, when that page is offered; it is switched off during the beta, and you can turn yours off at any time once it is on.
A logged position cannot be edited, by you or by us. If you make a mistake, you void it with a note and log it again, and both stay visible. That is how the record stays worth keeping.
If you delete your account, your screenshots are deleted, your email is removed, and your positions and prices are kept only as anonymous rows that no longer point to you.
Your API Keys
During the beta, API keys are offered to the operator's account only. When they open to every account, this section applies as written.
You can reach your own record through an API key you make on Account. A key is yours to keep secret; anything done with it counts as done by you, and you can revoke it at any time on Account. What comes back through a key is your own record and nothing else, and the limits on how often it can be called are set out in the app. You may use it for yourself and your own tools; you may not resell or republish what it returns.
What You Agree Not to Do
Do not use Techichi for anything unlawful. Do not enter prices or positions you know to be false. Do not scrape, crawl or copy Techichi's pages or data by automated means other than your own API key, and do not resell or republish its data. Do not try to reach another person's record, probe the service for weaknesses, or interfere with it. Do not share your account. If you find a security problem, tell us at hello@techichi.app and we will fix it and thank you.
Accuracy
We work to make every number right, and we say beside each one when it was observed and where it came from. Even so, prices move, venues change their fees and rules, feeds can be late or wrong, and the reading of a screenshot can miss. Techichi is provided as it is. We do not promise that any price, fee, estimate, grade or comparison is correct or current, and you should confirm any price with the venue before you act on it.
Pro
Techichi is free to use during the beta, and every account has Pro. When the Pro tier opens, it will be priced as shown in the app before any charge, billed through Stripe, cancellable at any time with access continuing to the end of the period paid for. We will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money. Your record stays yours on the free tier.
Changes and Ending
We may change Techichi, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop, we will tell you and give you a way to export your record first. We may close an account that breaks these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page.
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on the site and by email before it takes effect, and the date at the top will change.
Limits of Our Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using Techichi, including money lost on any bet or contract, decisions made on the basis of a price or grade shown here, or the service being unavailable or wrong. If some liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which during the beta is nothing.
The Law That Applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, and any dispute will be heard in its courts. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
